Photographing Jane Love

I had the pleasure of photographing tattooed alternative model Jane Love in the studio last week.

She is an alternative/conceptual model who always has the most colorful and vibrant hair to match her explosive personality.

Alex Jankowski of Arrogant Beauty came in and rocked out Jane's hair and makeup..... absolutely loved what Alex did with Jane's hair!

I chose a moodier lighting until Jane started to smile, that image was meant to be brighter ;)

Also since Jane stands out I wanted to keep the background simple and we shot on a black background and made her the main focus.

What better way to introduce our the face of Revival Pinups for 2015, Carley Coakley than with some images from our 50 Shades of Grey inspired shoot.

Moms are bringing sexy back!

I first met Jill on a Living Social deal I had for family photography Holiday portraits for my Lori K Sapio photography studio.  She came in with her adorable son and husband, and I forged an instant bond with her.

After discussing it for awhile, I had her come in for her first Boudoir shoot when her son had just turned a year old.  She was a bit apprehensive about showing some of her body parts.  While we had her in hair and makeup, I eased her worries and came up with our game plan.

Jill is also a bridal gown designer (her work is amazing), so of course she would come with a lot of options.... more options are better than none.

We went through her wardrobe and decided that we would shoot a couple of different gowns/dresses, a vintage slip and a bra/panty set.  You can be sexy without showing it all.

Jill killed it and I feel her nerves were at ease once we finished the shoot.......

I just wrapped another boudoir shoot in the studio with a Mom I met for her family's Holiday portraits this past December...... I love that these Moms are bringing sexy back!

Our Breast Cancer Survivor, Tracy

For October, Kate Johnson and Revival Pinups gave away a free boudoir photoshoot and a makeover to a Breast Cancer Survivor.

Real life Barbie....

I had the pleasure of photographing a client who resembles a real life Barbie doll yesterday..... looking forward to working with her again.  She was a hoot!

Ashley Salazar

I had the pleasure of photographing Ashley Salazar in St Louis this past February.  I was big, pregnant, tired and clumsy before the shoot began.  Ashley's energy was so infectious, all my troubles melted away.  I have never met a more confident woman who was so aware of every aspect of her body.

I was in awe of her transformation when I lifted my camera to my eye.... a true professional with a heart of gold.

These images helped Ashley with the first ever title of Playboy’s Miss Social of the Year 2013.

The top image is also online on Maxim.com for their 2013 Hometown Hotties contest which is currently underway.

The bottom image was featured on Playboy South Africa's facebook page on Valentine's Day.... was a special honor for us!

I think Ashley is an absolute doll and I can't wait to work with her again!
